ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Grace Julian-Murthy. I am a painter, illustrator and a graphic designer. I have a BFA and MA degree in Graphic Design. My work is influenced by pop art. I draw inspiration from comics and use outlines in all of my work. Public art is very important to me as I love to infuse art in places that you would not normally come in contact with art. This art is a journey of happiness that use a visual language of humor, nostalgia, color, shape and everyday objects to illustrate that you can find joy in the simple things in life.  I believe that art exists all around us and all it takes to be appreciated is a closer look.
